Muhjah McCaskill’s nonprofit organization has reached over 150 youth by partnering with organizations such as E&ES, which allows her to go into Dearborn Homes and Wentworth Gardens Housing Projects, the Chicago Park District, and The Chicago Public Library. She has also conducted workshops on entrepreneurship at Martin Luther King College Prep High School, Operation Push and Chicago State University School of Business, her alma mater. She is piloting a re-entry program for men who have recently been released from the prison system; the program teaches the men life skills and entrepreneurship. She mentors adults in business creation through the launch phase.
Muhjah is dedicated to shifting the entrepreneurial gap in communities in Chicago. She believes in the population she serves and knows their hard work will be rewarded; she empowers them to be successful entrepreneurs. Muhjah is the founder of Strengthening A Nation, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, and is a member of Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society for Business.
In April 2018 Chicago Defender presented Muhjah with the Women of Excellence award.
